During World War 1, he employed the advertising slogan: "Buy Liberty Bonds and Howard’s Toys and Make the Kaiser Stop His Noise".
At the age of 23, he employed his woodworking skills to design a line of Toys referred to as "Sturdy Toys" for the Medina Toy Company.
Medina Toy Company Inc. was Chartered on February 16th, 1919.
